How do I get a Library Card? |
How Do I Renew My Library Card? |
All town residents are entitled to a free library card. We need some proof of residency in Newmarket: a license, a lease, etc. Others may purchase a card for $50.00 annually. All high school age residents may be issued their own library card. Children ages 4 and up may also be issued their own library card, however, the child's parent or guardian must have a valid library card.
If you work in Newmarket, but don't live here, you're still able to get a card! Please bring us proof of employment from a valid Newmarket address. |
Library cards expire every three years. We do this to ensure that patrons are still a resident of Newmarket. Your card expiration date can be found by logging into your account through our online catalog and viewing your account summary page. Please renew your card at the front desk at the library during our open hours.
What do I need to bring to renew my card? Please bring proof of Newmarket residency, proof of employment at a Newmarket business, or a current Newmarket student I.D. Proof of residency can be: license, vehicle registration, lease, bill, or a piece of mail. Questions? Please call or email the library for assistance. |
