Standard delivery time is 1-2 weeks from date of submission.
ILL Requests are limited to 10 items per person per week due to volume.
We may not be able to obtain books through Interlibrary Loan that are less than three months old.
How Do I Place an Interlibrary Loan Request?
Step 1: Check the Newmarket Library's online catalog to see if we have the item you are looking for. If so, you can place it on hold from there. If not, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: To make your ILL request, visit the NHAIS ILL System website. Log in using your Newmarket Library card number and PIN (the generic PIN is 9999).
Step 3: Search for your item using keywords in the search box at the top of the page. See this YouTube how-to video from NHAIS to learn how to use this system.
