This instructional video is just a start as you consider the wealth of radon information available through the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services [ NHDHHS].   NHDHHS also offers free radon measurement kits for follow up, or to confirm your initial results.  Note: no individual result records are retained after use of NPL radon monitor devices or through NHDHHS testing.  
Bi-annual testing is recommended as radon levels vary over time.  Re-test after local construction or excavation, home renovations, or changes in living patterns in the home.
