Welcome to hoopla!

What's hoopla Digital?
Enjoy audiobooks, eBooks, comics and manga, music, movies, TV, and more with BingePass- all with no waiting, no holds, and available 24/7! Sign up for hoopla with your Newmarket Public Library card at hoopladigital.com or download the hoopla app from your device's app store.
With over 1.5 million titles available instantly and more being added each week, hoopla has something for everyone! Just click or tap to borrow and start enjoying immediately. It works on smart devices or your computer's browser, so you can start on one device and pick up where you left off on another. You can stream titles or even download them for offline use.

How many borrows do I get?
Each library cardholder can borrow up to four (4) titles each month and borrows reset on the first of each month.
Enjoy Bonus Borrows on the last seven days of each month- patrons may choose from a curated selection of TV shows, movies, comics, manga, eBooks, and audiobooks without using monthly borrows.
Want to borrow more content without using all your monthly borrows? Explore hoopla BingePass, a 7-day pass that gives you unlimited access to one of multiple streaming collections with just one borrow!

How to Get Started:

1. Register for a hoopla account here or use the hoopla app on your iOS or Android mobile device. The free mobile app can be found in the Apple Store or the Google Play Store.  Pick Newmarket Public Library (NH) under Find Your Library. Enter your library card without spaces and your pin number. If you've never reset your pin on your library card account, it is 9999. If you have customized a pin for your library account, use that.
2. Get started by selecting Browse on your computer or, in the app, selecting a format (Audiobooks, Comics, eBooks, Movies, Music, Television, or BingePass) that you would like to explore. You can also search for a specific title by clicking on the Search box or magnifying glass and typing in your title/keywords.
3. To borrow a title, click on the title and then click the Borrow button. Your borrowed titles can be played right after borrowing, and found under the My hoopla tab for viewing/listening. Enjoy your selections!
4. Borrowed titles will be automatically returned when your lending period is over. There are no holds, wait lists, or late fees for any hoopla title.
5. If you need additional help, visit the help section on our mobile app, or click on the Help link found at the bottom of hoopladigital.com

Common Issues:
Q. I entered my email, but it says I already have an account in use. Does hoopla support multiple library cards?
A. It does not support multiple library cards under the same email account. If you have an existing hoopla account from another library that you belong to, you will have to use a different email account to register for your Newmarket hoopla account. If you used to use a different library, but are no longer a patron, change your library in Settings.

Q. I tried the pin number 9999, but it didn't work.
A. Call the library to reset your pin number. If you changed your library account password (used for our catalog to place holds, etc.)  use that one.
